Introduction

The British Society of Animal Science and the Animal Husbandry Association of Thailand are pleased to announce a jointly organized conference to be held in Khon Kaen, Thailand in November 2005.  The conference on "Integrating Livestock-Crop Systems to Meet the Challenges of Globalisation" follows on in a series on livestock production in tropical/developing countries.  The previous two meetings were held in Nairobi, Kenya (January 1998) and in Merida, Mexico (November 2002) and were most successful.  BSAS and AHAT look forward to working together to organize a conference of importance to delegates both within the Asean region and at an international level.
