Accompanying Persons
The
Registration fee for the accompanying persons includes the welcome dinner,
lunches on each day and the farewell dinner.
In
addition it includes a full programme of visits on each of the four days of the
conference. These may be modified to meet the interest of the participants

The renowned and prosperous province of Khon
Kaen is located in the midst of the Northeastern Part of Thailand.
Its’ urbanization begun at the same times as the establishment of Bangkok.
Many historical and anthropological places indicate that the locality of
Khon Kaen, during the prehistoric times, was indeed a prosperous, civilized
and well-populated place. The province is also highly endowed with ancient
cultural heritage, which can obviously be traced. For instance, the
cave-wall paintings at Famue Daeng Cave (the cave of Red Palm) in
Muang Kao sub-district of Phu Wiang District, the Ancient Town of
Dvaravati period (7-11th century) at Non Muang village of Chum
Phae District. Adding to this, the religious placed of Khmer Epoch under
King Chaiwaraman VII regime, the stone castle of Pueai Noi District, which
are deemed the largest sandstone castle ever found in Khon Kaen Province.
Their beauty and grandeur are still in perfection up until the present
time.
Khon Kaen has been khown for its great
potential for its natural grandeur and breathtaking tourist spots. It is
also the education hub where the famous Khon Kaen University is situated,
khown to be the greatest and most competitive academic resource in the
Northeast of Thailand. Khon Kaen’s townspeople maintain several cultures
and traditions and their local products attract several travellers and
visitors. A great example of which is the famous and exquisite “Madmee”
silk of Chonnabot District where the villagers’ brainstorm center in textile
and fabric design derived from ancient times is located. The silk threads
are partially tied up in line, using multicolored threads for aesthetic
purposes, and simultaneously weaving them into beautiful silk clothing.
Khon Kaen is located about 445 Kilometers
away from Bangkok. It is composed of 20 districts and 5 mini-districts.
Climate : Hot season starts from February
to May with the average of 34.6 degree Celsius.
The rainy season begins
from May to October with heavy rainfalls in August. The winter commences
from October to the end of February. The lowest temperature in December
around 22-25 degree Celsius.

see the important places. First stop is a step back in time at
pre-history National museum. Next we go to see the most beautiful Pagoda
that was built in for Khon kaen 200 years old. Then we will go to learn
about Khon kaen's history at Heart wood log and castle Pillar. Then we
enjoy the return trip to the hotel.

Program 2 : HALF DAY
AFTERNOON DINOSAUR |

(Dinosaur
museum/International Park/Buffalo village) Phuwiang: The first
Dinosaur Park in Southeast Asia. This is a beautiful natural place which
has fossils of dinosaurs. They are discovered and there are the
footprints of different species of dinosaurs. The most significant event
of all, which is the discovery of the oldest fossils of carnivorous
dinosaur called " Phuwiang Gosauras Sirindhornae ". At Phuwiang,there
are many fossilized remains of dinosaurs which were discovered in
sandstone of early cretaceous of about 130 millions years ago. In the
evening program, we'll take you to the buffalos village. You will see
the Thai buffalos go back to their home. Moreover, you'll see the
lifestyle of the villagers.

HALFDAY MORNING - MadMee SILK (Madmee Silk Village/
Museum/Silk Road/ UNESCO Temple) |

"Chonnabot Madmee
Silk" Madmee is a weaving technique unique to the I-san region. Visit
the village and see the process of weaving silk used for decades, and
have remained unchanged in the way of processing. This produces every
kind of good quality silk clothes. Then we visit the museum and silk
road, including World Silk Grand Prix Award is also available here. We,
then, will go visiting "Sabuakaew Temple" which is received Award of
maintain heritage and culture of Asia Pacific from UNESCO before we
return to the hotel.

Program 4 :
ONE DAY TOUR KINGCOBRA VILLAGE

Cobra Village/ Ubonrat Dam/ Dinosaur park/ Isan house/ 7Kings Budda
Statue) On our way to visit "Phra That Khamkaen" which was located more
than 200 years, you will also see the paddyfield in different seasons
and villagers. We visit "Snake Village" to see challenge of life between
human and snakes. After these exciting things, we bring you to enjoy
local lunch. After that, we go to "Ubonrat Dam". Visit a Dinosaur park,
see an Isan house, 7 Kings budda statues at the most beautiful view of
the Dam, before return to the hotel.
